Students - Guidelines for submitting Posters
If you poster has been accepted, here are some general comments which would be useful for you to bear in mind upon final submission of your poster
- If you want your poster to be included in the CD based conference proceedings you need to send it electronically to presentations@biee.meeting.org.uk. by September 1st . To ensure that the correct version of your poster is included on the CD, you should only send in the final version of their paper.
- Your poster would benefit from a 1-2 page handout/briefing paper. Please can you bring copies along with you. We are anticipating ~120 delegates.
- If you have not already done so, it would be useful if you could also provide us with a synopsis of a few sentences which we will include in the delegate pack. We must receive your synopsis by email by Wednesday 17 September 2008.
- Your poster needs to be readily understandable and attractive to look at. Go easy on acronyms and jargon – bear in mind your audience. Feel free to be as creative as possible with the poster, including graphics as appropriate.
- We suggest using A0 size – either portrait or landscape.
- We are unable to provide printing facilities of your poster. Each poster must be printed and posted to our office so that the poster arrives by Friday, 19 September 2008 latest. This must be clearly labelled with your name and title of your poster. Please send to Karyn John at the address below.
